EXCL : Lewis Hall set to make second senior Chelsea start tonight

ChelseaFC365 understands that barring any late changes, Lewis Hall starts in tonight’s Carabao Cup tie against Manchester City.

The source tells us that he starts as a LWB, which could mean Marc Cucurella LCB, with Kalidou Koulibaly and Trevoh Chalobah making up the back 3, although this is just speculation.

Hall, who is primarily a centre midfielder, has played plenty at LB and LWB for Chelsea’s academy sides and is rated as one of the best talents.

Potter has been hugely impressed in training with Lewis Hall and Omari Hutchinson with both being included in the men’s first team training several times, ChelseaFC365 understands.

  1. I do like the manner in which you have framed this difficulty and it does offer me personally a lot of fodder for consideration. Nevertheless, because of what precisely I have experienced, I just hope as the opinions stack on that people stay on point and don’t get started upon a tirade involving some other news du jour. Anyway, thank you for this exceptional piece and even though I do not necessarily concur with the idea in totality, I respect the standpoint.
