Exclusive: Marcos Alonso fell out with Thomas Tuchel at half time of Chelsea vs Wolves match

Thomas Tuchel made a half time substitution in Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Wolves subbing off Marcos Alonso for Saul Niguez. Chelseafc365 reports via Nathan Gissing that Marcos Alonso had a very heated exchange of words with Thomas Tuchel at half time.

According to Nathan, Marcos Alonso’s priority this summer is to LEAVE Chelsea with Barcelona working on the transfer.

Nathan went onto say :

“The feeling inside the dressing room is this could be Alonso’s final game in a Chelsea shirt this season or maybe ever, due to the Spaniard’s priority to return to Spain this summer.

Barcelona hold a strong interest in the player, as it is seen as a possibility this deal could happen, with contacts happening between player and Barca “

Claims originally came from a FPL source @ManOnPod_Thomas so there is more than 1 source for the information so far.

@ManOnPod_Thomas said :

“ My guy told me there were a few bad passes (not sure if that means lost possession or just wrong option) which was annoying Tuchel. Alonso responded with some insults in Spanish.

TT told him because of what he said to him (insults) he’s coming off the pitch.

Chelsea face Leeds United on Wednesday and a huge cup final clash against Liverpool this weekend, with Tuchel’s options looking down to Azpilicueta, Saul Niguez or Reece James.

Kenedy is not expected to be thrown into the side.
