In this live update blog, ChelseaFC365 will bring you all the latest updates as they happen from deadline day. Chelsea are expected to pursue a defensive midfielder and complete a deal for Aubameyang which will see Marcos Alonso finally get his move the other way to Barca.

Other than that, it remains to be seen what could happen, one thing is for certain, the transfer window deadline can throw up shocks and you can be assured that agents around the world will desperately be offering their clients to top clubs such as Chelsea in order to try and get a move.

Could we see Chelsea also enter the market for a winger if they receive a surprise bid for Hakim Ziyech or even Christian Pulisic?

10:30PM : Aubameyang is DONE and has signed the contracts, says Fabrizio Romano

9:52Pm : SOURCES : I understand that Depay interest was more driven by his agent trying to find a club solution, rather than Chelsea being interested, Chelsea’s window is OVER ❌

9PM : All contracts signed for the Zakaria deal, it’s DONE, per Fabrizio Romano.

8:43PM : Auba’s intermediary is working on Depay to Chelsea, Depay is keen to join Chelsea, via Nathan Gissing.

7:17PM: Aubameyang has just arrived in London to complete his medical, via Nathan Gissing.

3:25PM : After Todd Boehly not allowing Billy Gilmour to leave on a permanent earlier in the day, talks have just started progressing for a deal to Brighton, according to Charlie Parker Turner.

12:42PM : Aubameyang is CLOSING IN on Chelsea, agreement in principle for £12m + Alonso, he is prepared to fly to London once final details are resolved, per Fabrizio Romano.

2:22AM : I don’t know how I’m still awake but Fabrizio Romano has just reported that Barca and Chelsea are confident to reach an agreement for Auba & Alonso swap + Cash, last bid being discussed in these hours is £10m + Alonso.
