Sources : Chelsea working to find agreement for Enzo Fernandez

A source has told ChelseaFC365 that two key figures from Chelsea are currently working on the Enzo Fernandez deal as the club try to strike a agreement.

The source tells ChelseaFC365 that David Barnard who was promoted to the board by Todd Boehly in March 2022 and is one of the remaining survivors of the Roman era is involved in talks as well as Christopher Vivell and super agent Jorge Mendes.

Barnard, who arrived at Chelsea at Chelsea in 2002, has been ever present and has handled a lot of Chelsea’s finances over the years.

The source states that it is a likely possibility that one of Todd Boehly or Behdad Egbhali will arrive in Portugal tomorrow, alongside recruitment chief Paul Winstanley.

Chelsea are actively discussing all deal possibilities including loaning Enzo back to Benfica until the summer, nothing is currently off the table at the time of writing and the source even said that the deal could cost much more than 105 million pounds.
